If you haven’t already heard the buzz going on in the Fashion World: the word is out that giant super store, Target will be teaming up with the high-end department store, Neiman Marcus to create chic but affordable collections. This was decided back in July, but the fashion-obsessed are now getting a sneak peak at some of the items from these exclusive collections.
The two stores have brought together 24 top designers to create collections exclusively for these two stores. The collections will roll out December 1st and will include items from top designers like DVF, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Brian Atwood, Alice + Olivia, to name a few. Prices will range from $7.99-$499 with an average ticket price of $60.
“Target and Neiman Marcus are known for charting new terrain, and by joining forces for the holiday season, we’ve set the stage for a redefining moment in retail,” says Gregg Steinhafel, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Target.
In celebration of this collaboration, both Target and Neiman Marcus will donate $1 million to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). DVF was on Good Morning America this morning, showing off some items that will be featured in the two stores. One of the items featured was a fabulous yoga mat with DVF’s signature twig design that makes me want to start taking up yoga. To see the set of items featured on Good Morning America click here.
Will you be shopping these collections on December 1st? I know I’ll be there!
