I have been looking forward to this post since January, when I was first invited to go to Bobbi Brown training downtown Chicago the last week of March. The training reconfirmed my passion and love for empowering women to be their most pretty and powerful selves.

If there is anything to take from this post, it is the difference between Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and the numerous other makeup lines available to you. Bobbi Brown is indeed an artistry line, but nonetheless, a teaching brand. Her treat to customers is the face chart the makeup artist fills out for them with the exact colors and products used. The face chart gives customers the tools and steps to achieve this look at home.

Did you know? At Bobbi Brown makeup counters all over the world they offer complimentary makeup lessons. These lessons can range from a smokey eye lesson to secrets to perfect skin. These lessons can go from 20-45 minutes.

I learned more than I could have ever imagined about Bobbi Brown and her events, campaigns, and service projects to charities like Dress for Success. I have decided to dedicate my next 10 posts on Bobbi Brown’s ‘Pretty Powerful Makeup Lesson. My first post will focus on skin-care, the most important step in any makeup routine because it is the base for any makeup application. Without the right amount of hydration makeup can look flat and ashy on any skin type.
